"Aljomaih Automotive" participates in the"4th Arab forum on Combating Commercial Fraud, Counterfeiting and (IPR) protection"

Aljomaih Automotive, the largest dealer of General Motors in the KSA & Middle East, participated in the "4th Arab forum on combating commercial fraud, counterfeiting and intellectual property protection" as a diamond sponsor. The forum was held at King Faisal conferences hall in Riyadh under the auspices of His Excellency the Saudi Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf, and organized by the Saudi Customs. The Forum was attended by a large number of local and Arab dignitaries, and took place on May 5-7 and accompanied by an exhibition for consumers' awareness.

The 4th Arab Forum discussed global and local legislation in combating commercial fraud and violation of intellectual property rights. As well as, drying up the adulteration of imitated goods, highlighting the impact of misuse of modern technology in the growing phenomenon of commercial fraud. And also debated the importance of an integrated strategy to combat commercial fraud, and to highlight the role of customs worldwide to address the phenomenon of commercial fraud and counterfeiting at borders.

Many workshops, which were held alongside the Forum, discussed the integrative role of concerned bodies in the fight against commercial fraud, counterfeiting and intellectual property rights protection, and the successful practices in combating commercial fraud and counterfeiting, in addition to the role of the private sector and its responsibility to combat commercial fraud and counterfeiting.

Noting that the goals and visions of the Forum coincide with those of Aljomaih Automotive Company, where AAC fights commercial fraud through the provision of genuine spare parts from its original source, which promotes the company's credibility towards its customers. This is the company's 3rd participation in a row in the Arab Forum on combating commercial fraud, counterfeiting and IPR protection.
